Twinkie Chan’s Free Patterns

If you haven’t already heard of Twinkie Chan, she crochets food-themed accessories and sells them in her Etsy shop.  She also does craft fairs and has written a pattern book.  I’m in love with her designs, and I think you will be too!

Recently I contacted her, asking if I could do a blog post with links to all of her free patterns…and she agreed!  So all of you lovely readers get a yummy crochet treat.  I will be editing it when new free patterns pop up, since Twinkie Chan posts a new pattern to Michaels once a month.  Here is the list, divided into several categories:

SCARVES & SHAWLS

Birthday Candle Scarf on Michaels – This scarf is striped like a birthday candle and has a stuffed flame at the end!

Jelly Bean Scarf on Michaels – Twinkie Chan designed this from a request from her Twitter followers.  It’s a great stash buster!

Chocolate Truffle Scarf on Michaels – It looks delicious, and you’re bound to get tons of compliments.

Marigold Triangle Shawl on Michaels – Talk about modernizing granny squares!

ACCESSORIES

Mummy Gloves on Tricks & Treats – If you want to crochet a Halloween costume, this is the pattern for you.  They fit any size hands!

Daisy Headband on Tricks & Treats – In the same post as the Mummy Mitts, you can find this sweet daisy headband.  Scroll down to see it.

Sparkly Heart Lollipop Necklace on Twinkie Chan Blog – This necklace is made from the same heart pattern, but has an entirely different usage.  It’s adorable too!

Sweetheart Sugar Cookie Brooch on Michaels – Any outfit will look awesome with this super cute brooch!  Maybe you could turn it into a necklace or hair clip too.

Lollipop Brooch on Cut Out & Keep – This made me think of Om Nom from Cut the Rope.  Wouldn’t it look cute on a winter coat?

Mermaid Style on Twinkie Chan Blog – Twinkie designed this to wear over an outfit, but you could use the pieces for embellishments too.

Laverne Patch on Twinkie Chan Blog – The post includes information on how to glue the patch onto your finished shirt.  Perfect for Laverne & Shirley fans!

Slushee Drawstring Bag on Michaels – This bag looks just like the real thing, and it would make a nice fashion statement.

GARLANDS

Cupcake Garland on Rock’n’Roll Bride – Make your wedding amazing with this cute cupcake garland, or use it to cheer up a room.

Pepperoni Pizza Garland on Michaels – This garland was designed with dorm rooms in mind, but it would look cute anywhere.  You could leave out the pepperoni if you’re a vegetarian like me.

AMIGURUMI & THE LIKE

The Very Hungry Caterpillar on Twinkie Chan Blog – I NEED to make one of these…so adorable!

Plinky’s Favorite Cotton Candy on Twinkie Chan Blog – Created for the Paint Chip Pals, this amigurumi cotton candy makes a cute necklace, hair clip, or pin.

Gummy Bears on Lion Brand – Made with Lion Brand Bonbons, these gummy bears don’t take much yarn, making them a great stash buster.

Paranorma Eggs on Norma Lynn – Twinkie and Norma collaborated to make these cute Easter eggs, with adorable animals inside!

Rainbow Sherbet Throw Pillow on Michaels – This is the cutest pillow I’ve ever seen, and you can do any number of scoops!

Amigurumi Goldfish Cracker on Twinkie Chan Blog – These are so cute!  Words fail me.

COZIES

Strawberry Cake Binder Cozy on Michaels – Be organized in style with this yummy binder cozy!

Chiffon Cake Tissue Box Cozy on Michaels – This isn’t your grandma’s tissue box cozy!  It looks good enough to eat.

Vegetable Pen Cozies on Michaels – These would be so cute at work, school, or in your purse!

Grumpy Octopus Coffee Cup Cozy on Twinkie Chan Blog – This would help cheer up those cranky Monday mornings!

It’s quite a long list, isn’t it?  There are even more patterns in her pattern book, so head on over and check it out!  I want to buy it when I get the chance.  (The bread and butter scarf is paradise for a carbovore like me.)

Thank you, Twinkie Chan, for letting me do this!  I hope this helps someone find their next awesome crochet project.  😉
